The University Foundation of Navarra - UNINAVARRA, in its commitment to internationalization and academic diversity, has opened its doors to receive new exchange students within the framework of its Internationalization Policy UNINAVARRA FACING THE WORLD.

The welcome ceremony held on March 4/2024 at the main campus was led by the Faculty of Health Sciences and the International Cooperation process. Among the new members of the student community is Lisa Gerstner, from the University of Rome La Sapienza in Italy. Lisa, a student of the Medicine Program, brings with her the spirit of the ancient Italian institution, founded in 1303 and considered a leader in research, education and international projection.

They also received Dr. Joel Farington, from the Rosa Emilia Sanchez Perez de Tavares National Cancer Institute (INCART) of the Dominican Republic, who is currently specializing in Oncological Surgery and represents the excellence and commitment of INCART, a third level hospital specialized in the fight against cancer, whose history is intertwined with the name of Rosa Emilia Sanchez Perez de Tavares, a pioneer in the care of cancer patients in the Dominican Republic.

This event marked the beginning of an exciting academic and cultural exchange for these residents, who are now part of the UNINAVARRISTA family. Their arrival not only enriches the educational experience of the institution, but also strengthens the bonds of friendship and collaboration between different regions of the world, reaffirming the international projection and academic excellence that characterizes the institution.
