The Board of the Faculty of Education of the Navarra University Foundation - UNINAVARRAby means of the Agreement No. 001 of January 24, 2020The new law, which regulates the Admission Process for the Postgraduate Programs of the School of Education, was approved by the Board of Directors of the School of Education.
The Faculty Council of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University Foundation of Navarra - UNINAVARRAby means of the Agreement No. 081 of December 16, 2017.The new law regulates and modifies the admission process for postgraduate students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

If the applicant has a degree, photocopy of the diploma or degree certificate.

If the applicant is a foreigner, he/she must comply with the legal regulations of the country regarding permanence and study. Likewise, the applicant must present a certification evidencing the presentation and approval of a Spanish language proficiency exam.

Admission Process:

Once the documents have been received and the scores are known, the positions will be awarded in descending order to those who have obtained the highest scores, until the quota assigned to each program is reached.

If several applicants have the same score and there are still vacancies to be filled, a lot shall be drawn by lot among them. If an admitted applicant does not present himself/herself for registration, or does not fulfill the requirements for registration, the vacant position will be awarded to those who have obtained the highest scores.

The Academic Council will regulate and implement admission tests, general or specific for each program.

Once the admission tests, determined by the Academic Council, have been completed, the Admissions and Academic Records Office will make the final adjudication and proceed to publish the list of admitted students.

Enrollment Process:

In order to enroll, the applicant must present the following documents to the Admissions and Registration Office:

  • Registration order issued by the Admissions and Registration Section.
  • Receipt evidencing payment of tuition fees.
  • Identity card.
  • High school diploma or high school transcript.
  • Those presented during the enrollment process. If, due to proven difficulties, the bachelor is unable to present the grades or the diploma certificate at the time of enrollment, he/she may, however, carry out the enrollment.

In such case, if the required documentation is not completed within the non-extendable term of one (1) year, it will be automatically cancelled.

SENA - UNINAVARRA Agreement

Through which UNINAVARRA and SENA formally declare their willingness to cooperate in common substantive functions and areas of mutual interest, establishing, among other aspects, discounts or economic incentives on the part of UNINAVARRA to the beneficiary population for undergraduate or graduate studies.

Important:

  • Applicants interested in accessing the discount under the Agreement must inform UNINAVARRA of their status as beneficiaries during the enrollment process, providing the documents established for this purpose.
  • The interested applicant must comply with the requirements to enroll in an academic program at UNINAVARRA and his/her admission will be conditioned to this and to the selection criteria previously established.
  • If the interested applicant does not prove his/her beneficiary status during the enrollment process, he/she will not be able to request the application of the discount, since it is granted at the time of enrollment for the first time in a Program.
  • By the mere fact of registering, the applicant does not acquire any rights against the Fundación Universitaria Navarra.
  • During each semester, in the registration renewal process, the student must present to the Admissions and Registration Unit, in addition to the documents required for the registration renewal process, the certificate attesting that he/she continues to be a beneficiary of the discount.
  • When the interested party loses the status of beneficiary for any reason or does not prove his or her condition, he or she will not be able to continue accessing the discount granted and must pay the full amount of the tuition fees.
  • If the interested party recovers the condition of beneficiary of the discount, he/she may request its application for subsequent periods, presenting the respective support during the registration renewal process.

How to apply for the discount (applicants)?

    1. For GROUP A beneficiaries:

i)   The Regional Coordinator of the Human Talent Management Group of SENA Huila, or whoever is acting on his or her behalf, will report the children, stepchildren, spouse or permanent partner of SENA public servants who have been selected as beneficiaries of the agreement through SENA's internal call, once the period of claims has ended. The report must be made through official written communication electronically to the Admissions and Registration Unit of UNINAVARRA, through the following e-mail address admisiones@uninavarra.edu.coThe enrollment dates are established in the Admissions Instructions.
ii)   The Admissions and Registration Unit will send official written communication by e-mail to the Financial Management with the list of potential beneficiaries of the discounts established in the Agreement, to be taken into account at the time of generating the enrollment order, if the applicant is admitted to a Program.

iii)   Once the registration has been successfully completed, the applicant will be summoned by the Admissions and Registration Unit to the application of tests and interviews, according to the Academic Program of interest.

The results of this process will be published in the Lists of Admitted on the institutional web page. https://uninavarra.edu.co/.

iv)   From the Committee for the Allocation of Quotas, the Official List of Admitted Students is sent to the Financial Department, where they will generate the Enrollment Order for each applicant after verifying the discount request in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.

v)   The admitted applicant must pay the registration fees within the time established for this purpose and send the payment support to the following e-mail addresses apoyocontable@uninavarra.edu.coadmisiones@uninavarra.edu.co

NOTE: The enrollment process must be carried out in accordance with UNINAVARRA's Admissions Instructions.

  1. For GROUP B, C and D beneficiaries:

Group B, C and D beneficiaries will apply directly at the UNINAVARRA registration period as follows:

i)   The applicant must register in UNINAVARRA's LINDA Platform on the dates established in the Academic Administrative Calendar of the Academic Council.

The instructions for this procedure may be consulted at:

ii)   After the applicant generates his/her registration in UNINAVARRA's LINDA Platform, the Admissions and Registration Unit will notify the applicant by e-mail if the registration was successful.

iii)   Once the applicant receives the notification of successful enrollment, he/she must request the application of the tuition discount established in the agreement, providing the respective supports (if applicable) to the following e-mail: apoyocontable@uninavarra.edu.co y admisiones@uninavarra.edu.co

Application deadline: Within five (5) calendar days of receipt of the successful registration email from the Admissions and Records Unit.

The following supporting documents must be attached to the application according to the type of beneficiary population:

  • SENA public servants: Certificate from the Human Resources Office or whoever is acting in its stead, stating that he/she is a Public Employee or Official Worker of SENA.
  • SENA contractors: Certificate from the Human Resources Office or whoever acts in its stead, stating that he/she is a Service Contractor of SENA.
  • SENA apprentices and graduates: Certificate of studies or training degree, where it states the quality of SENA apprentice or SENA graduate, issued by the admissions unit or whoever takes its place in SENA.

NOTE 1: The beneficiary of the discount must assume the excess of the value of the tuition that results after applying the assigned discount.

NOTE 2: The discounts established in the agreement are not cumulative with other discounts in force at the time of enrollment, and according to institutional policies, the discount will be applied to the total tuition fee that is more favorable to the student.

NOTE 3: The discount request DOES NOT APPLY for children, stepchildren, or spouse or permanent partner of SENA public servants, since their beneficiary status is validated and reported directly by SENA to the Admissions and Registration Unit of UNINAVARRA.

iv)   The Admissions and Registration Unit will proceed to validate the supporting documents, as follows:

  • Labor or contractual certificates from SENA: will be validated before the Regional Coordinator of the Human Talent Management Group of Huila, through e-mail or whoever is acting in her stead.
  • Training degrees or certificates of studies from SENA: can be validated through its website: https://certificados.sena.edu.co/.

If no record of the document consulted is found, you may request validation from the Vocational Training Coordinator of the Huila Regional SENA or whoever is acting in his or her stead.

v)   Once the documents have been validated with SENA, the Admissions and Registration Unit will send official written communication electronically to the applicant the status of his/her application, as follows:

  • Validated: The veracity of the information and the quality of the beneficiary of the discount has been verified.
  • Invalid: According to the SENA report, the applicant does not qualify for the required discount.

vi)   The Admissions and Registration Unit will send official written communication by e-mail to the Financial Management with the list of potential beneficiaries of the discounts established in the Agreement, to be taken into account at the time of generating the enrollment order, if the applicant is admitted to a Program.

vii)   Once the registration has been successfully completed, the applicant will be summoned by the Admissions and Registration Unit to the application of tests and interviews, according to the Academic Program of interest.

The results of this process will be published in the Lists of Admitted on the institutional web page. https://uninavarra.edu.co/.

REGISTRATION RENEWAL: 

It is the presentation of the receipt of payment of tuition fees for registration and payment of all fees, which must be made by the student to the Admissions and Registration Unit to renew each new semester his or her link with UNINAVARRA. This procedure will be carried out on the dates stipulated in the Academic Administrative Calendar.

Public servants and contractors of SENA, as of the second semester of each academic period of the study plan, must present to the Admissions and Registration Unit, the labor or contractual certificate issued by SENA together with the documents required for the registration renewal process.

With respect to the spouse or permanent partner and stepchild(ren) of SENA public servants, the Admissions and Registration Unit will request every six months to the Regional Coordinator of the Human Talent Management Group of SENA Huila, Yolima Méndez Perdomo, through the e-mail address ymendezp@sena.edu.coThe Company, or the person acting in its stead, must send an official written communication electronically certifying that they continue to be the beneficiary of the discount established in the agreement.

Homologation Process:

SENA Agreement 

Within the framework of the Technical Cooperation Agreement No. DG-001-2021 signed with the National Learning Service - SENA, and the NAVARRA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION - UNINAVARRA, proceed to agree on the homologation tables that will be recognized by the Educational Institution for the entry of SENA graduates of Technical and Technologist programs.



SENA graduates of the Technical and Technological levels at the national level may, through a process of APPROVAL and the previous fulfillment of the requirements established by the NAVARRA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION - UNINAVARRA, to study in the professional careers offered by the NAVARRA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION - UNINAVARRA according to the following list:
