Who are we?

The Uninavarra Research and Innovation Center - CIINA, is a decentralized and transversal academic body, whose fundamental functions are to direct, advise and plan institutional research activities, thus contributing to the construction of a favorable scenario for the generation of knowledge and its dissemination.

The Navarra University Foundation -UNINAVARRA- by agreement number 011 of 2015 of the University Superior Council, creates the CIINA with the purpose of favoring the institutional research activity prioritizing its strict and integral direction, through the management of processes that sponsor the academic-administrative relations within the institution and with the national and international academic environment. The CIINA was regulated by agreement 009 of 2017 by the Academic Council.

To lead the conception and management of strategies, guidelines and policies aimed at developing, promoting and consolidating the research culture of the Navarra University Foundation, through the creation of comprehensive and quality programs that respond equitably to the needs of the academy and promote the fulfillment of the institutional mission as a higher education institution in accordance with local, national and international trends with a clear social focus.

The Research and Innovation Center of the Navarra University Foundation -UNINAVARRA- "CIINA", will be recognized as an academic body generating knowledge, which will guide the institution in its consolidation as a pioneer and leader in the implementation of the research-curricular integration model in the Surcolombiana region, the country and the international arena, through the use of institutional capacities and areas of knowledge, favoring the consolidation of knowledge spaces and a socially transforming academic culture.

At the Uninavarra Research and Innovation Center - CIINA we plan, direct and advise the institutional research activities contributing to the construction of a favorable scenario for the production of new knowledge, its dissemination, transfer and social appropriation, contributing to the solution of the most felt needs of the region.

  • Research Culture: To develop a research culture that contributes to the strengthening of research projects.
  • Organizational Projection: Optimize the effectiveness of the management system, through the monitoring, measurement and improvement tools available to the QMS, in order to guarantee long-term institutional projection.
  • State-of-the-art infrastructure: Guarantee state-of-the-art research spaces for the provision of the service
  • Institutional Positioning: To guarantee customer satisfaction through the implementation and continuous improvement from the S.G.C., achieving positioning in the region and in the national research system.
