Status
- Exchange student:Â Student accepted for student mobility in an institution that has an agreement with UNINAVARRA, by virtue of which the student is exempt from paying tuition at the host institution, unless the agreement establishes otherwise.
- Visiting student:Â Student accepted for student mobility in an institution that does not have an agreement with UNINAVARRA. In the absence of an agreement, the student, in general, must assume the cost of tuition at the destination institution.
Incentives
- Tuition fee: Students participating in any type of national or international mobility at a destination institution that has an agreement with UNINAVARRA will be exempt from paying tuition at that institution, unless the agreement establishes otherwise. Likewise, they may benefit from the incentives provided by UNINAVARRA on the value of tuition during the period of national or international mobility established by the Superior Council.
- Cost of homologation: Students participating in national or international mobility in agreement with the host institution will be exempted from the payment of fees for the homologation of the activities approved in the mobility proposal by the Faculty Council.
- Other incentives: Students in any type of mobility at the national or international level may participate in the student mobility incentives offered by UNINAVARRA, the host institution or national and international programs or entities. UNINAVARRA incentives will be approved by the Superior Council annually.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in one of the academic programs offered by UNINAVARRA, at the time of applying and carrying out the student mobility.
- No disciplinary sanctions or disciplinary investigations in progress.
- Have the approval of the corresponding Faculty Council.
- Have the academic endorsement of the Curriculum Committee of the undergraduate or graduate program to which he/she belongs, except for a Research Stay in which case he/she must have the endorsement of the Ethics/Bioethics and Scientific Research Committee of UNINAVARRA.
- To perform clinical internships, to have the endorsement of the Teaching Service Leader of UNINAVARRA.
- For undergraduate students, to have passed 40% of the academic credits of the study plan at the moment of initiating the student mobility. For students of the Medicine program, it is required to have completed and passed the entire basic cycle of the study plan at the time of initiating the student mobility, that is, to be leveled up to the fifth semester. Not applicable for short course, mission and observership.
- Postgraduate students must have completed and passed the first academic period. Not applicable for short course, mission and observership.
- Proof of communicative competence in the foreign language required by the host institution, if applicable.
- Acquire international medical insurance for physical mobility abroad, with coverage for illness, accidents and repatriation during the time of stay abroad, once accepted by the host institution, under the terms required by it.
- Acquire the corresponding migratory permit or visa for physical mobility abroad as required by the destination country, once accepted by the destination institution.

It is the modality where the teacher movesfor teach a course(s) or subject(s) at the undergraduate, graduate or continuing education level according to their area of expertise, participate in an event national and/or international as assistant and/or speaker, to carry out a research stay at a host university located in the country or abroad. This mobility will be reported to the International Cooperation Office; the faculty member must sign the letter of commitment established for this purpose.

Status
- Exchange student:Â Student accepted for student mobility from an institution with which UNINAVARRA has an inter-institutional cooperation agreement in force, by virtue of which the student is exempt from paying tuition at UNINAVARRA, unless the agreement establishes otherwise.
- Visiting student:Â Student accepted for student mobility from an institution with which UNINAVARRA does not have an inter-institutional cooperation agreement in force. In the absence of an agreement, the student must assume the cost of tuition at UNINAVARRA determined by the number of credits he/she plans to take.
General requirements
- Be linked to the institution of origin, at the time of application and perform the student mobility in UNINAVARRA.
- To be of legal age. In case of being a minor, you must have the authorization of the Legal Representative.
- Have national or international medical insurance from a legally recognized insurance company in Colombia or in the country of origin for national and foreign students, respectively, in case of physical mobility. The insurance must have minimum coverage for illness, accidents and repatriation and be in force during the time of mobility in UNINAVARRA.
- Acquire the corresponding migratory permit or visa and foreigner identification card in case of physical mobility of foreign students, in accordance with the Colombian migratory dispositions for the country of origin.
Specific requirements
In case you are interested in Academic exchange, research stay, internship, practicum, medical rotation, observership or degree modality, must additionally meet the following requirements:
- To be applied for by the institution of origin at the International Cooperation Department of UNINAVARRA.
- Demonstrate a cumulative GPA equal to or higher than 3.6 or its equivalent.
- Obtain endorsement from the corresponding Faculty Council or administrative unit of UNINAVARRA where the student mobility will take place.
- Obtain endorsement from the Academic Council if you are a Visiting Student.
- In order to carry out a Research Stay, the approval of the Ethics/Bioethics and Scientific Research Committee of UNINAVARRA is also required.
- In order to perform clinical practice, the approval of the Teaching Service Leader of UNINAVARRA is also required. In case of being accepted as an Exchange Student, he/she must assume the cost of the civil liability policy.
- In order to perform professional practice and in case of being accepted as an Exchange Student, he/she must assume the cost of the labor risk insurance policy.
- Comply with the work plan approved by the home institution and UNINAVARRA.
- Have communicative competence in Spanish if required.
- In case of being accepted as an Exchange Student, to assume the cost of the student card, student insurance and other complementary expenses required by UNINAVARRA.
- Exchange Students and Visiting Students who are accepted in any program of the School of Health Sciences must wear the uniform of their institution of origin, or failing that, an anti-fluid uniform and comply with the rules of UNINAVARRA, of the practice scenarios and other national regulations on the use of the uniform.
Incentives
Incoming students pay the fees that apply at their home institution and do not pay tuition fees at UNINAVARRA, except in cases where there is no academic cooperation agreement or the agreement signed establishes otherwise.
