What is it?

It is an event that seeks to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between institutions and diverse disciplines, around research projects in the field of engineering and other related areas. Those interested may submit their abstracts and proposals in progress under the modality of oral - virtual presentation. Research papers may address topics of a practical, analytical, theoretical or experimental nature, with no restrictions on categories.

What are the modalities of the work?


1. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (R&D) PROJECTS


In this modality, participants are invited to present their research at different stages of development. Participants may choose to share a proposal, an ongoing project or one that has already been completed. This allows to show the research process from the initial idea to its conclusions, fostering a space for feedback and collaborative learning.

2. BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECTS


This category is designed for projects with a focus on the development of business ideas. Participants may submit business ideas, detailed business plans or projects that are already underway. The objective is to stimulate innovation in business, promoting solutions that respond to market and industry needs.

3. INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS


This modality seeks to highlight projects that are implementing or developing new technologies, products or methodologies. The idea is for participants to share how their innovations can positively impact the industrial and academic sector, contributing to the advancement and improvement of existing processes.

4. TEACHING OR GRADUATE RESEARCHER


This modality is intended for teachers or graduates who wish to present their research at any stage. The idea is to provide a space for experienced researchers to share their knowledge and findings with students, thus promoting interest and experience in research within the academic community.

4 Notification to Authors of the Decision taken by the Scientific Committee 19 de octubre (después de las 13:00) Authors will be notified of the final decision of the Scientific Committee, informing them if their work has been accepted for presentation at the event.
5 Realization of the Event (Virtual Modality by Microsoft Teams)*. 28 de octubre de 2025(19:00, hora local) 28 de octubrebre de 2025 (21:00, hora local) Day of the meeting, with presentations, poster sessions, panel discussions and other activities scheduled to encourage interaction among participants.

La Fundación Universitaria Navarra - UNINAVARRA invita a estudiantes, docentes e investigadores a participar en el III Encuentro Internacional de Semilleros de Investigación "Abriendo Fronteras", a realizarse el 28 de octubre en modalidad virtual. Este evento busca fomentar la colaboración y el intercambio de conocimientos entre instituciones y disciplinas diversas, en torno a los proyectos de investigación en el campo de la ingeniería y otras áreas relacionadas. Los interesados podrán enviar sus resúmenes y propuestas en curso bajo la modalidad de presentación oral. Los trabajos de investigación podrán abordar temas de carácter práctico, analítico, teórico o experimental, sin restricciones en las categorías. Todos los trabajos serán sometidos a un proceso de revisión, Se aceptarán trabajos en formato de resumen extendido en español, inglés u otro idioma adicional. Una vez aceptados los trabajos, se notificará enviará la plantilla de presentación al ponente.

El evento es organizado por el programa de Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería Ambiental y el Centro de Investigaciones e Innovación UNINAVARRA - CIINA de la Fundación Universitaria Navarra - UNINAVARRA, en el marco de sus actividades de internacionalización e investigación.

Sí, se entregarán certificados a los ponentes cuyas presentaciones sean aceptadas y realizadas correctamente durante el evento.

Las memorias del evento serán enviadas al correo de los ponentes en un par de meses, estamos comprometidos con brindar una experiencia enriquecedora y facilitar la divulgación pública de la ciencia. Para ello, los trabajos o postulaciones aceptadas deberán ser ampliadas como obra completa para ser incluida en las memorias del evento conforme a los criterios para presentación del trabajo una vez sea solicitado mediante correo al autor de correspondencia por parte del comité científico organizador.

Los resúmenes extendidos deberán enviarse entre el 6 de septiembre y el 17 de octubre de 2025 para su revisión y retroalimentación por parte del comité académico evaluador.
