The I Surcolombiano International Congress on Environmental Sustainability Innovation Research: challenges to achieve sustainable cities and communities of the Environmental Engineering Program of UNINAVARRA will be held in mixed modality (face-to-face and virtual), from the city of Neiva (Huila) during August 23-26, 2022. This academic and scientific event is a space for the social appropriation of knowledge and the public dissemination of science, which will feature national and international conferences and lectures, as well as the presentation of free papers that will allow the socialization of results and advances in research in the environmental field. This event aims to position itself in the region through participation and advances that have an impact on today's world by building environmental sustainability with community integration.

Target

Promote scenarios of social appropriation of knowledge and scientific and research competencies in which participatory and integrated management towards sustainable and efficient cities is socialized, highlighting the responsible use of resources from environmental engineering, with the participation of researchers, teachers, students of higher education institutions in the South Colombian region and external sector.
