Presentation
The I National and International Congress of Innovation and Research in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, which will be held in the city of Neiva Huila on November 11 and 12, 2021 as part of the celebration of the International Day of Radiology, in virtual mode. This scientific academic event is a space in which national and international conferences will be presented by different professionals in the area of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, as well as the presentation of degree works that will allow to socialize advances and results in research. The purpose of this event is to present the technological advances and innovations in the field of radiology, as well as to support the continuing education of technologists in radiology and diagnostic imaging.
Target
To update concepts in the radiology and diagnostic imaging technologists, teachers, active students of the program and participating universities; facing the new techniques of image acquisition, interpretation and advanced tools, thus promoting technology transfer, which supports the continuing education of health professionals, improving the processes of care under the criteria of quality and patient health.
Thematic areas
Basic Sciences
Radiological protection instrumentation used in Imaging. Simple and contrasted diagnostic images. Implementation of new tools to improve the learning process.
Clinical Sciences
Management of polytraumatized pediatric patients in radiology. Contribution of multislice tomography in cranioencephalic trauma. Vascular accesses in radiology; pelvic varicose veins, pelvic congestion syndrome and women's health.
Technology and innovation applied to radiology
Advanced image superimposition tools in Angiography. Virtual bronchoscopy by computed tomography: advantages and disadvantages. Tractography in CNS by MRI: what is it and what is it for? Glycolytic biomarkers in PET CT. Updates in forensic radiology.
