UNINAVARRA graduates 168 new professionals and reaffirms its academic leadership in the region
In a ceremony full of emotion and pride, the Fundación Universitaria Navarra - UNINAVARRA, ratified its role as one of the leading educational institutions in the southern region of the country and a national academic reference, during the graduation ceremony held today March 20, 2026, in a solemn ceremony held at the Club Campestre de Neiva.
This is how the graduation ceremony was experienced
The event brought together managers, teachers, family members and graduates in a space that exalted the effort, discipline and perseverance of the new professionals. The rector, Dr. Sandra Navarro Parra, highlighted the institution's commitment to comprehensive training and the impact of its new graduates on the development of the country, with the “Uninavarra Uniting Regions” initiative.
The event was also attended by distinguished members of the academic body, including the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Urban Planning, architect William Navarro; the dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, lawyer Cesar Mauricio Nieto; the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Basic Sciences, Dr. Ninis Beatriz Yance Restrepo; and the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Constanza Paola Tamayo Quimbaya.
New professionals and technologists
A total of 168 students received their professional and technological degrees, distributed in different academic programs: 41 graduates from the Law program, 20 from the Business Administration program, 7 from Environmental Engineering, 4 from Industrial Engineering, 44 from Medicine, 40 from Nursing and 12 from Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Technology.
During the ceremony, the academic vice rector, Giovani Orozco Arbeláez, emphasized that this new cohort of graduates represents not only academic success, but also the ethical and social commitment that characterizes the professionals trained at the Institution and their families.
The ceremony concluded with a message of gratitude from the attendees for accompanying this important collective achievement, reaffirming the pride of the academic community for the graduates of the class of 2026-1, who begin a new stage as agents of transformation in society.
