With an academic agenda focused on innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurial leadership, the XIII version of the International Congress UNINAVARRA Emprende 2026-1 was successfully held, a formative space that brought together students, teachers and collaborators around the strengthening of entrepreneurship and the construction of business proposals with social impact.
An academic space to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit
On Friday, March 6, 2026, a new edition of the International Congress UNINAVARRA Emprende was held, an event that is part of the UNINAVARRA Chair and that takes place every semester with the purpose of strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of Navarrese students.
During the day, which took place between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, and later between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m., more than 170 students, together with professors and collaborators, actively participated in a space for learning, inspiration and construction of innovative ideas.
The UNINAVARRA Chair is an academic scenario designed to promote the development of entrepreneurial thinking as part of the institutional philosophy and the integral formation of students. This process favors theoretical and practical learning through the philosophy of “learning by doing” and the use of active pedagogies that allow young people to identify opportunities, develop solutions and build business proposals with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
Conferences and lectures that inspired students
The attendees had the opportunity to learn about the main trends in entrepreneurship and the existing opportunities to develop business initiatives in the region.
The day began with the presentation “Structure and functioning of UNINAVARRA”, led by PhD. Sandra Liliana Navarro Parra, Rector and Founder of UNINAVARRA, who presented the institutional pillars and the institution's commitment to the formation of leaders capable of transforming their environment.
Subsequently, different conferences were held aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit of the students. Among them was the talk “Entrepreneurship Made Real: How to Turn Social Problems into Sustainable Business Opportunities”, which reflected on the role of entrepreneurship as a driver of social change.
Similarly, the presentation “Entrepreneurship with Impact and be an Agent of Change. Trends in Entrepreneurship: a Tool to Change the World - Build, Validate, Fund” allowed participants to learn about tools and methodologies to structure viable and impactful business ideas.
The event also included an induction on how to access the UNINAVARRA eTR platform, where students received guidance and recommendations for the preparation of their Video Pitch, a fundamental tool for presenting their entrepreneurial proposals in a clear and convincing manner.
The academic day concluded with a Panel of Entrepreneurs, a space in which guests shared experiences, challenges and lessons learned from the business world in the regional tourism sector, motivating students to turn their ideas into real projects capable of generating economic and social impact.
Bootcamps: the next step to building business ideas
The congress, led by UNINAVARRA's Center for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, represents the first phase of a training process that will continue with Bootcamps, scenarios designed for the practical development of entrepreneurial skills.
In this stage, students will have the opportunity to dream, create and structure innovative and sustainable business proposals with the potential to transform the world, applying the knowledge acquired during the course.
Uninavarra is getting ready for the LION HUB EVENT: the challenge for the best Navarrese entrepreneurs
With the UNINAVARRA Emprende 2026-1 International Congress, the first step is taken towards what will be the LION HUB EVENT, considered the decisive moment for the best Navarrese entrepreneurs, who will present their ideas to experts and investors with the aim of turning their business dreams into real projects.
As part of the process, all Video Pitches must be delivered on Saturday, April 25, 2026 before noon. These will be uploaded to an institutional platform for the consultation of the entire Navarrista community and evaluated by a technical committee that will analyze criteria such as innovation, commercial and technical feasibility, projection and sustainability of each business proposal.
Open call for entrepreneurs and investors
The Center for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability of UNINAVARRA extends an invitation to entrepreneurs, organizations and individuals interested in supporting these initiatives. The calls are currently open for those who wish to participate as investors in the business ideas developed by the students.
Those interested can approach UNINAVARRA's Center for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability to learn more about this process that seeks to turn students' ideas into business projects capable of generating development, innovation and social transformation in the region.
