Presentation

The V International Congress on Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development will be held in presence-based modality from the city of Neiva (Huila) during the week of August 23-26, 2022, within the framework of "Week I" (Research & Innovation). This academic and scientific event is a space for the social appropriation of knowledge and public dissemination of science, which will feature the participation of national and international speakers and lecturers, as well as the presentation of free papers that will allow socializing results and advances in research. This event has positioned itself in the region thanks to the success of its previous versions; in addition, it has shown a continuous growth in the number of attendees, speakers and international lecturers who, through their active and generous participation, have made it possible to present in southern Colombia current research with worldwide impact.

Target

To understand the challenge that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent for humanity and how science, technology, research and innovation can and should be the most effective mechanism to successfully achieve these goals. In addition, as an academic-scientific event, it seeks to contribute to the social appropriation of knowledge through the dissemination and socialization of results and advances in scientific research and technological innovation carried out by researchers, teachers and students from different national and international scientific and higher education institutions.
