A free resource developed and maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), it contains reviews of 4,600 journals in abstract form. It contains the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) vocabulary of medical terminology which provides a search tool. Includes more than 19 million citations to biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and books on the Internet. Citations can include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publishers' Web sites.
