Program Presentation
Radiation protection training is important for all persons who are routinely exposed to ionizing radiation as a result of their work, not only to comply with national regulations, but also to avoid and reduce undesirable biological effects, through the application of preventive measures, technical procedures and standards that minimize the risks of irradiation to acceptable levels. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection issued Res. 482 of 2018, which repeals Res. 9031 of 1990 of the Ministry of Health. This resolution defines requirements according to the new technologies to grant licenses to any person (natural or legal) who owns or uses X-ray generating equipment for medical, veterinary, industrial or research practices. As a requirement for granting the license for the exercise of such practices, occupationally exposed workers must be trained in radiological protection.

Target
To train and update human resources in knowledge and skills in safety and radiological protection that will allow operators to work responsibly in work environments involving the use of ionizing radiation, in addition to complying with current regulations on radiological protection.

Methodology
Applying virtuality in the Microsoft Teams platform, the teaching-learning process is framed in the training-action methodological proposal, in virtual modality, in such a way that the participant becomes, from the first moment, an active part of the training process by studying, analyzing and discussing the contents and its concepts (training). In a second moment, the participant will carry out the application of exercises and practical cases that will allow him/her to put into practice and land to the real context what he/she has learned (action). During the development of the demonstrations, workshops, case follow-ups and simulations, feedback and critiques will be made for the development of skills. The independent work is the responsibility of each participant in terms of reading texts and preparing the knowledge required in each module.
