WELCOME
The culture of peace consists of a series of values, attitudes and behaviors that reject violence and prevent conflicts by trying to attack their causes in order to solve problems through dialogue and negotiation between people, groups and nations, taking into account the very important point of human rights, as well as respecting them and taking them into account in these treaties. (This was defined by UN resolution, being approved by the General Assembly on October 6, 1999 at the Fifty-third session, Act 53/243).
The Organizational Culture of Peace Management System promotes in the academic community the acceptance and commitment to build peace from everyday life, modifying ways of proceeding and collective imaginaries established in the collective conscience.
ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE OF PEACE POLICY
The Navarra University Foundation - UNINAVARRA is committed to the achievement and sustainability of a culture of peace, through different strategies of training, research, social projection, extension and international cooperation in different institutional and community scenarios, of peace in favor of all the strata and actors of the institution and the region.
Under the parameters of the regulations and compliance with legal requirements, in order to provide the internal and external community.
In accordance with the parameters and objectives of a Culture of Peace. Through a continuous and solidary work that guarantees the active participation of people as teachers and conciliators for peace as a contribution to social transformation.
ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE OF PEACE OBJECTIVES

- Promote and develop training processes as TEACHERS and TEACHERS OF PEACE to members of the academic and administrative community of UNINAVARRA, community leaders and the community in general.
- Promote and maintain the generation and use of peaceful scenarios and environments inside and outside the institution.
- Ensure the regulatory consistency of the institution.
- Continuously improve the suitability, adequacy or effectiveness of the RBMS
- Actively participate in institutional and inter-institutional scenarios (networks) designed to create environments in a culture of peace.
COMMITMENT TO THE ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE OF PEACE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
In line with the considerations section of this document, senior management expresses its commitment to the Organizational Culture of Peace Management System, which can be evidenced by the following actions.
- Creation of the Peace Office of the University Foundation Navarra, as an administrative unit attached to the Faculty of Education (Academic Council Agreement 010 of November 21, 2019), advisory and consultative character, collegiate and unipersonal authorities of the Institution, the environment and the country, on issues related to Peace and other issues and strategies that contribute to the consolidation of a culture of peace, inclusive, democratic and intercultural in UNINAVARRA, in the region and the country.
- Participate and contribute to the management of Organizational Culture of Peace in the country and support the State in the legal implementation of the Peace Agreements, adopting strategies and projects that allow this implementation.
- Implement, through the Legal Clinic, the Observatory for Peace.
- Adoption by present and future collaborators, teachers and suppliers of the Institution and other members of the Navarrista community of the Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption Pact, as a support of the Organizational Culture of Peace Management System - SGCPO.
- To train the internal and external community of the Institution as Teachers of Peace, in a community multiplier process in the culture of Peace.
- Implementation of the culture of Accountability on the effectiveness of the Organizational Culture of Peace Management System - SGCPO, ensuring an adequate flow of information and participation of stakeholders on the progress of the system.
- Adoption of strategies and programs through the Peace Office and University Welfare for the benefit of interpersonal relations and assertive communication, thereby improving the organizational climate and peaceful work environments.
- Encouragement of relationships framed in human rights and the prohibition of gender-based violence or sexual abuse, among areas, collaborators, senior management and the organization, with its environment and stakeholders;
- Development through the Peace Office, of skills in UNINAVARRA collaborators, managers, teachers, students, alumni, suppliers and stakeholders, for the implementation and consolidation of a culture of peace, with the purpose of being reflected in a leadership of Master of organizational peace, to facilitate and promote the results of the organizations and the country.
