Presentation of the program
The purpose of the program is to train specialists in the most relevant topics in the area of the Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health Management, who are able to respond to the contemporary vision of an integral management in occupational safety and health, which guarantees the prevention of injuries and diseases caused by working conditions, in addition to the protection and promotion of the health of workers for a better quality of life.
In this way, we highlight the relevance of the Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health Management, especially when it addresses sensitive issues for society in general, as it is committed to occupational safety and health, within the framework of fundamental and collective rights.
Who is the target audience?
Applicants for the Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety Management may be university professionals related to the areas of health, law, engineering, administration, humanities, among others, who are able to objectively analyze the work environment and provide a timely solution to the problems encountered.
The specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Management will be able to design and implement an occupational risk management plan. Likewise, he/she will have the necessary tools that allow the correct decision making for the timely intervention of incidents and accidents at work.
Specialists in Occupational Safety and Health Management may work as advisors, consultants, administrators, employees of companies or public or private entities; as managers or owners of consulting or advisory companies in Occupational Safety and Health and Occupational Risks.
