Program Presentation
Cardiovascular diseases are the most prevalent pathologies in the world and one of the main causes of cardiorespiratory arrest and death. Timely and effective intervention increases the probability of survival of patients affected by cardio-respiratory arrest both in a public place (out-of-hospital level) and within a health institution (in-hospital level). Knowing the complexity of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and its impact on survival, it is essential that each person involved in this process has sufficient knowledge, skills and abilities to perform it.

Target
To strengthen methodological strategies aimed at developing knowledge, skills and abilities through theoretical and practical knowledge, basic life support skills - BLS for a single rescuer or a team, applicable both in the center and in out-of-hospital settings and to obtain better results in cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, toxicological and other complex emergency situations by expanding on the basic ACLS guidelines and fostering critical thinking and decision-making strategies.
